That interview was great, I wish the website was that informing. It's close to spring and I thought FW had broken up since the website has been static since June, but I'm very happy to hear that we're getting a new CD pretty soon. I can't get enough FW!

My God - Robert above (02/11 post) said exactly what I really would like to say! I'm with FW from 18 years now, purchased whatever guys produced as a band or aside projects, but - hope I'm f..k wrong - seems it's kinda disconnected... what a pity! Love those guys and their music, and want more FW!!

I saw Fates for the first time on the QR/DT/FW tour. I was blown away! I now have everything that Ray sings on (I don't care for the other guys singing). I also have the two Engine CD's. I can't wait for new Fates. And Ray is one of the nicest guys you could meet. He hung out with us for a while before the show started.

Finally, People say it like it is. I've followed and purchased everything Fates for like 15 years now. Please, Stop the side projects, I don't follow them. DT does side projects but still release CD's. Some of DT's stuff sorta stinks but I'd rather have too much stuff to listen to than not enough. Bring Aresti, Moore back. Become a band again. Do different styles on one CD, Prog was built on diversity, as Joe says, we try not to be "stagnet". I almost dont care what you put out, I just want some Fates. I'll even go as far as say, do a 3 minute commercial song. Just do it so I can play a song for someone else, they might like it and they'll say, Oh I like that song, I'll go to the show with you. I can't go to shows no more cause no one listens to your music. Theres so many prog bands, dont let people forget about you. I saw the QR/DT/FW recent tour. Great show, make a bigger presence next time, should have had a big banner saying who you were. CD samplers at the show. Shove it down peoples throats, their there to see Prog, and your the best. IMO you guys are better than DT and QR. Play Toads, Oakdale, Tuxedo, seen you at every venue here. Update the few Fates webpages.Your becoming "disconnected".

They're in fact supposed to be working on something new, but they're keeping us appart as usually. That's a shame, because it seems like they enjoy being "undergrounders", a cult band, and no more than that. Too bad for everybody... A suggestion: Bring Frank Aresti back and try us, impress us, do something "monumental" for the fan's (and the music's) sake! C'mon guys! Will you always be that band that never really made it? :-(

Why dont you guys spend less time on side bands and focus more on Fates? This way,the next album wont sound like a jumble of unfinished songs without direction, because face it.The last album could have been alot stronger. In my opinion, the last album sounded really dissapointing.I heard Frank's Dragon spoon. Now I know where all the catchy songs with hooks dissapeared to.You guys really need to get him back. GOODLUCK!!
